It's the same in the original. I think the demons like to play games (and aren't that smart, as mentioned). Instead of getting them in 5 seconds, they like to terrorize and enjoy a night outside of hell.
I agree. Angela was scary in the original. In the remake, she looks cross eyed and goofy. They didn't even keep the yellow eyes in the full demon makeup. They show her yellow eyes when she's looking in the mirror after she gets bit. Highly disappointed.
