1. I first saw this when I was a kid, and I didn't think it was Amelia Kinkade. In the original, she is credited as 'Mimi'. For a while, I thought Amelia and Mimi were sisters. With just her hair longer and curly, it was still hard to see her as 'Angela.'

2. I've always had an issue the way they refer to the demon as 'Angela.' Especially when Mouse says she hates her at the very end. It's not Angela, it's the demon controlling her.

Anyone else had similar views or thoughts?

She did look a bit different. Certainly heavier. She was still just as cool though. I don't know why the character isn't more widely known as a horror icon. For me she's up there with Freddie, Jason etc. I guess compared to them she hasn't had as many movies.
