We don't know why. And 'We' includes YOU too. Sorry, can't understand the point you're making! I would try to teach her to think critically if she were my daughter! Exactly! Why shouldn't we allow ourselves to just say we don't know how it all came about. If we don't have an answer we definitely shouldn't make up an answer as God. Let's explore. Maybe one day humanity will find out 😉 Btw, I have a degree in mathematics, but don't know much biology 🤪 nor physics! I wanted to know how someone starts to believe. You said believing in a divine Creator was your first step. Wouldn't it be better if your starting point was not knowing and than moving from there? Totally true. I was just trying to make a point why vampires are still more probable than a god because they at least originated from humans. Maybe some of the mythology is wrong though and holy water as an example has nothing to do with them 😄 Of course I don't believe in vampires! But I like some of the movies and series about them 👹 Very glad to read that 🤝 I guess you are not an atheist then. The probability of the existence of vampires is bigger than the probability of the existence of one or many gods. At least, vampires where once human beings. We know human beings exist. But there is ZERO evidence for any of the many gods people believed in through time. Just saying 🤪
