I have been meaning to watch that movie for a long time now, somehow never came around it.
I guess I will watch it now that you have reminded me of it.
Roots is too old for my liking.
Free State of Jones is good movie but I have already watched it :/
Looks promising. I will check it out. Thanks.
They are opposite because in movies mentioned by me are about black slavery. A black person is downtrodden and is being exploited and oppressed by while master. In Green Book the black guy is a popular pianist. He has respect, money fame. He is sophisticated and the white guy drives his car. You see how these moves are opposite?
How? The only thing common is a black man.
A good movie I am sure. But it’s complete opposite of what I am looking for lol
The theme is same. Black slavery in America.
Like it? I had to literally make a resolution to finish the book. I get it that it's subjective. Some people's taste might differ from others but trust be nobody in their right mind would want to read this book. It's boring, obvious, and predictable. It is a waste of time.
Do yourself a favor. Burn that list before you get there.
I was contemplating watching that one. I guess I will. Thanks.
Shhh! nobody has to know!
Lord of Flies by William Golding
Not because it's a classic. But because it is a terrible, terrible book.
A huge chunk of population have been spared of this terrible book because they don't read.
If they make a movie out of it, chances are they too will experience this horror.
@kspkap it may be a great movie. Idk. But is it a visual treat?
It's too yellow lol
But thanks anyways.
I am looking for movies which have stunning visuals. I am not into artistic videography. (like some black and white movies in today's time). However, I will check out the movie that you have suggested out of respect. May be I will I like it. Who knows.
2007 one? The trailer is mostly yellow.
Shutter Island was good. I liked the imagery and also the movie.
I will consider watching Sin City.
As for The crow I doubt they had cameras that could capture ultra high quality images at the time.
Watchmen was a good movie.
I will check out The Assassination of Jesse James
Most of the movies that you have listed are either pretty old or just too hocus pocus aka Sci-fi.
As I mentioned I am not looking for old movies for simple reason that they lacked the camera quality.
