Personally, I enjoyed this movie a lot. I can live with someone saying it's not as good as the other 2 in the original trilogy, but come on Kingdom of the Crystal skull? Way worse than this. blockquote Personally, I'm glad this doesn't involve Nazis or Communists or any other tropes but introduces mythology from ancient India. I thought this was kind of interesting. Wasn't Marion also, Sassy, ill tempered and attractive? Wasn't Marion such a tomboy that she could outdrink men twice her size? Willie is cool because she's kinda like the "everyman". She's how most people would feel sleeping in the jungle overnight and then eating disgusting animals for dinner and sticking her hand in an insect swarm with dangerous insects. Her cowardice is amusing and serves as counterpoint to Indy. short Round is comedy relief in a dark movie and is an attempt to Humanize Indy by giving him a bit of fatherly qualities. -Love the opening scene "anything goes" -Love the ending when all the children return to the village All amazing.. for the footage alone. Each episode is a little short. All worth watching the. The ending becomes especially touching. I thought Rey was the Love Child of Princess Leia and Jabba the Hut. What actress or model do you think is a 10 if she isn't? Please do not ask for anything in this film to make sense. If you hate nazis than you’re a liberal? Conservatives can’t hate nazis? Sorry that would just make too much sense. Come on Marvel movies? This movie has more thought involved than any of the recent marvel movies or tv shows. And yet, what is James Mangold's most famous sci fi/fantasy movie before Indy? Logan. An X-men film that received so much praise from fans and critics and did nice box office and yet broke completely away from the original X-men movies. Perhaps if the pursuit of the artifact had been better handled like in the original Indiana Jones movies, then it would have better to stick with the formula. As opposed to a 2 and a half hour movie that is mostly just moving from one CGI fested backdrop into another with gunfights and car chases not being tiresome? There's plenty of political correctness. Starting with an African American woman in her 20's being the head of a CIA team in 1969. Unfortunately, they ruin the character by not understanding like the audience can in 2 seconds, that she's working alongside Nazis. And the Mary sue partner of Indy has some sort of Daddy issues, rather that, Godfather issues. She's capable of memorizing complex historical documents, jumping from building to building, insulting Indy and then punching him in the face because he basically wants to give up and die in the past. Political correctness gone crazy. It's not great. Movie has many flaws. It's too long. It's a cacophony of CGI car crashes and shootings. The characters are boring except for Indy and maybe the main villain. He beat up Rocky too. He was thrown against the side of a wall and then slid down into a white, gaseous cloud. It is totally ambiguous as to what became of his fate. If Superman wanted to murder his enemies he would have killed Lex or Rocky. Instead he just hurt them or imprisoned them. Superman is not a killer. I loved all the scenes when Tyrion was imprisoned falsely for killing Joffrey. The meeting with Podrick, then Jamie, then Bronn and finally Oberon Martell. The last scene with Oberon really blew me away. It was so well acted. It so deeply revealed Oberons character and motivations. It seemed expected and unexpected at the same time. In what scene in the original theatrical cut does it show Zod dies? You are making assumptions. This never happened. First of all Non did not commit suicide, he tried to fly and being portrayed as a childish simpleton, stumbled and fell. Zod was not murdered, he was tossed into some kind of pit which most people at the time assumed was a phantom zone projector. This being the internet and all you get upset over nothing. Most actors are nothing like their roles unless their roles are that of the average guy which you rarely see in movies and tv. Hannibal is one example of hundreds of evil people portrayed. Mafia? You think James gandolfini is at all like tony soprano? Basically anyone playing a bad guy is not playing themselves. And you didn’t really understand that Hank moodys one liners are just the beginning to a lot of talking behind the camera. There’s no intention to portray real life pickup to be about using a one liner. Aside from that you didn’t mention that moody is a rich famous good looking guy using excellent banter. Hell, I’d be really surprised if hank wasn’t picking up hot women. What? Why would an actor be the same as the character he plays? Do you think Anthony Hopkins is really a serial killer for portraying Hannibal? Ridiculous comment. As for your Hank Moody comment, remember that on the show that Hank is a rich, good looking guy. He's good looking for a guy in his 40's. He's also somewhat famous. The wit is just the cherry on top. I don't write in Haiku. I mean stop with the pointless preaching and focus on storytelling. Step on some toes. Take some chances. Make women fallible. Make visible minorities fallible. Stop stunt casting minorities in traditional white male roles. it's not needed. That's fine, if that's the story you're telling, but it has nothing to do with the original movie "A League of their own". Not to say that this is the only time a franchise has been remodeled to fulfill an agenda. The main problem with these woke agenda movies and tv shows is basically that you're preaching to the choir. It becomes boring very fast unless you only go out and see two movies a year. How many racists are going to tune in and watch this show? How many racists will watch star trek and other movies that pump a woke agenda? It's just redundant and it's the same damn note every single time. Only the instrument changes.
