For some reason, Hollywood's wig game has been shitty. I've seen chicks around my neighborhood with better lace fronts. They need to start hiring some of these YouTube chicks to educate them on how to make wigs look more real.
First of all Blade is not a superhero, He is an anti-hero. Secondly the movie was not marketed as a "superhero" movie. It was marketed as a horror movie. People forget this was still during the Buffy years so those whom never read a comic book, looked at Blade as being a Black vampire slayer if you will.
There are men that prefer sex with men but like the emotional connection with a woman. This seems like the case for Freddie. David Bowie was also bi but his preference ended up being women. I think he just dabbled.
At the time Rupert came out it was career suicide. Not so much now. It also depends on the actor cause Luke Evans & Matt Bomer are being cast in straight roles.
Bruce was riding high off of the hit Moonlighting so he was hot at that time and then he did Die Hard. So I'm guessing the record company.
I think its a mistake not including R-rated content. I mean they already have the Disney channels & Disney movies Pay per view channel for kids. The Streaming should be for everything.
They will probably include original content. I do remember reading something about Lady & the Tramp. Not sure if its live action or a sequel.
It was a time when a lot of actors thought they could sing too or was trying to. I'm not going to lie, Respect yourself is a bop tho.
Both actors from Miami Vice had singles. The dude from American Werewolf in London had a single. Patrick Swayze had a song. Lets not forget Eddie Murphy. You'll be surprised how many actors released album &/or singles.
It depends on the type of club and what you're going for. We are the same age and I'll only go to clubs that play house & lounge. It usually has an more mature crowd. I don't mess around anywhere there are youngins.
I'm not sure if you notice but most of their cartoon adaptations are from dark stories. The only one that stayed dark was Hunchback from Notre Dame. Pocahontas even got Disney-fied. They had to make them kid friendly. I mean Sleeping Beauty got raped while sleeping. I don't think parents would want their kids watching that version.
The reason they are buying Fox was for their content. People keep mentioning Star Wars & Marvel as if that is all Disney are. Disney was built off of Mickey Mouse and Cartoons, Not Star Wars & Marvel. Even without those two IPs, they would have a lot of content for their streaming service.
Lets be honest, Netflix is mad cause Disney made up most of their content and I'm pretty sure a lot of Disney fans got Netflix cause of it. Disney can't touch any of the Marvel Netflix characters for 2 years plus Disney said they will not include any R-rated content. I think all the R-rated content might end up on HULU.
Viki is. Boxasian & gooddrama isn't. You'll have to use your computer for those.
Viki started off as an Asian drama site but has since added dramas, movies and shows from other countries. They are a legit site.
boxasian & gooddrama is an Asian drama/movie site.
I haven't watched any Chinese dramas. I got into Asian entertainment in 09' that includes music as well. I kinda lost interest around 15' plus most of the celebs I liked either disappeared for a while or had to do their 2 year military service. But I did manage to finish legend of the blue sea and watched Bromance last year. I'm waiting for lee min ho to get out of the military. A lot of the guys are getting younger & I feel weird watching anybody younger than 27 cause they look like babies.
If you want to watch more dramas hit up Viki if you haven't already. Use boxasian & gooddrama.net as a backup.
I haven't seen this version so I'm not sure how aggressive this guy is vs the other versions. The lead never hit his love interest in any of the other versions. He did try to force a kiss on her in the korean version. I know in the original anime he tried to rape her at one point but I don't remember if he hit her. I can't remember if that was in the Japanese adaptation. Yeah I'm not here for Domestic Abuse but unfortunately, some Asian women view this as love or okay. They have a weird view of love & relationships. If you keep watching their stuff you'll see.
To me, Lee Min Ho in the korean version embodied the lead perfectly. While still being asshole it was hard for me to hate him because he also sometimes came off sympathetic. I think it was the way they wrote this version. They gave each F4 depth.
Did you watch this on netflix? I'm noticing more people discovering Asian dramas from there.
They are still playing his music. I had this debate with my mother. People are saying you have to separate the man from his art but I disagree. A lot of artist put their personal stories and issues in their art. So when you have a man making music like, Sex me, 12 play, seems like your ready and a bunch of other sexually charged songs, while messin with anyone under 18, you can't ignore that. I mean the man calls himself PIPED PIPER of R&B.
I am a Chicagoan so the R Kelly stories have been around since he became famous. He used to hang in the parking lot of a high school in the Chi. I used to see this dude performing in the subways before he made it. Dude is a musical sensational but he is a deviant.
I remember when the tape came out, a lot of people didn't believe it was him &/or didn't care as long as he was rolling out bops.
It might be on You tube. I know Baywatch Hawaii is.
Are you new to Asian Entertainment? If so, I'm sorry to say, its their thing. A lot of their romantic dramas/films have the leading man being an asshole to his love interest, while the second lead dude is the nice guy she doesn't want. Unfortunately, class is huge in Asian culture. The rich pretty much gets away with a lot cause they tend to pay off people. That's why bullying is so huge.
I've never seen this version but I have watched the Japanese, Korean & Taiwanese versions. Even the sad US attempt. The Korean version is my fave it was huge. It up'ed the bar. I'm surprise folks are still adapting it.
I disagree. Prince is a musician & song writer. He wrote all his own songs. I feel for you (redone by Chaka Khan), Nothing Compares to U (redone by Sinead O Connor) , How come you don't call me (redone by Alicia Keys). Lets also add Gett Off, Diamonds & Pearls, sexy motherfucker, Damn U, Insatiable, The most beautiful Girl in the world. Those are just a few classics I named. He wrote some of Morris Day & the Time hits. He wrote Vanity's Nasty Girl. Dude got a great body of work. The rise of "gangsta rap" and his battle with Warner Music is what hurt his career during the mid 90s until 2000 when he released Musicology which was a hit.
Plus not letting people upload it to YouTube & Spotify is why a lot of the young generation don't know him like they know MJ. Prince was able to hold his own with MJ, Madonna & George Michael whom were dominating the 80s. Prince influenced a lot of R&B singers. Including Lenny Kravtiz.
it either was Kingpin or the men working for him. They had already killed her by the time he texted her.
There are certain people where you just can't condense their story into 2hrs. James Brown deserved a mini-series like the Temptations and the Jacksons. Plus there was a lot of buzz within the black community about them not liking the folks producing the movie cause they knew, they would leave a lot out. Which they did. Another reason I think folks didn't support it.
