cringe joke. what is this? 2009? I don't know. It's difficult to tell if he knew whose penis he's getting because of the lack of dialogue. I forgot the exact sequence of events but I think the father showed the son the article and the next scene was them in the doctor's office after the surgery, where they were trying to test if he would get an erection. That's how I found out! At first I thought "does everyone in Korea go to the same surgeon?" lol but then I checked the cast. The mistress and the store clerk ARE the same person. That part is obvious. They weren't meant to be different people. The son first saw the father and his mistress in the act and then later in the film she approached them while they were driving away. So the son knew who she was and went to see her at her workplace. The mistress and the mother being played by the same actress, however, isn't meant to be as obvious. It's meant to add another layer of symbolism, I think. Yes, the father donated his penis to his son but that happened later in the film after the scenes you're describing. The father was shown multiple times throughout the film researching penis transplantation on the internet and he finally found an article about a successful surgery. The articles were in English, I guess you just weren't paying attention. The son getting his father's penis is an important plot point for the final act of the film, in which we're shown that the son could now only get an erection from his mother... hence the mindfuckery. "endless following of the characters as they.....do...what???" As they turn into zombies lol did you not watch it? It's essentially the start of a zombie outbreak. I think the entire point was that you're left wondering if any of it is actually real or just a bad trip from the new drug. The filming choices are very intentional. It's supposed to look nightmarish and trippy. View all replies >
