Well, do feel free to continue discussing Piranha 3D and the Kardashian’s on the other movie feeds then. Nothing for you here.
Your insight is, befitting.

Not with all of the evidence provided in my previous post. No.
This isn’t transforming robots or knuckle dragging Game of Thrones country. Stephen Kings works are layered. But, I guess “reading too much “into” a movie script” is subjective. Those with a lower IQ might see it that way. Some people can’t see beyond what’s on screen at that particular moment.
Giving those types multiple or single Stephen King scripts to thought process and debate is like feeding grapes and fine cheese to a pig.
TheCaretaker
And you know for a fact that in Stephen Kings mind, Pennywise didn’t cause the accident?
Given that “IT” could kill humans and appeared on the Roadside in the original IT movie trying to distract a motorist with his “lights”
You need to do some Stephen King research. References to “IT” appear in Storm of the Century, Tommyknockers and Insomnia to mention a few. In fact, there are direct and indirect references in all of his work. And, even The Shining had potential links.
Dude, Castle Rock is also the setting of The Dead Zone, Cujo, Needful Things. All Stephen King adaptations. Everything he did is linked. And you just think Stand By Me isn’t?
TheCaretaker
Considering that this was movie was taken from a Stephen King novel, and that the Stephen King universe is linked, then we should give thought to the possibility that IT aka Pennywise, was the culprit. Remember here that Gordies brother had died, and we don’t know how. Think about it.

You assume wrong
Kresse stated to Jonny that after Cobra Kai closed down he re-enlisted in the military and trained SEALs and Green Berets, and now he’s back in the Valley. It’s not very believable. His character could ruin this.

Dillon was is and always has been an average no-mark actor. He’s terrible.
Put your fanboy feelings aside.
TheCaretaker
Hownos,
Why are you even comparing them? Because they are both set in Vietnam?
How intelligent.
Comparing CoW to A Few Good Men would be more relevant. But the latter doesn’t have the word “Vietnam” anywhere in the description and so your poor brain couldn’t make the comparison.
The Caretaker
Ruined the movie for you?
Oh it’s such a shame that three SEALs died for nothing then.
To think they could have all lived and won the approval of an entitled asshole like yourself, must haunt their families to this day.
TheCaretaker
Anthonysbarat
BUD/s or SEAL training doesn’t condition a person to gunshot wounds you clown.
That has nothing to do with it.
Why do you make statements about SEAL training as though you know something more than what you and everybody else has seen on YouTube or read in a book?
“Naturally wired NOT to quit” I think you need to stop watching the Terminator and Universal Soldier movies👍

ebhaynz, knows this because he plays a lot of war games in his bedroom😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Joe Foreman?
You mean Joe Frazier
Or George Foreman even?

He would have been a witness testifying that Tony was the head of a criminal enterprise.
That’s a RICO indictment right there. That’s 25 years to life minimum on each count.
What did he have on Tony? Are you kidding me? Feech has was part of the criminal enterprise that Tony ran as the boss.
Go and check what RICO is and how it works. They only need one witness. The RICO statute was invented and designed to bring down organised crime. It’s been called out for breaching human rights, such is its one sided power in favour of the government.
Whenever RICO was brought up by Tony’s lawyer he freaked out. He knew what a RICO indictment would mean. The FBI have a 99% conviction rate. The only way to beat a RICO indictment is to turn witness and cut a deal.
That’s what they used to bring down Gotti and turn Sammy Gravano.
During the entire series RICO was referenced many times, but never once did the FBI get a witness to bring Tony down. The writers kept it accurate on that score, because one witness would have been the end. It would have meant RICO.
That’s why all the other witnesses ended up dead. Pussy, Adrinana etc.
I get that other criminals shop each other to law enforcement to take down the competition, but not in Cosa Nostra. It’s never been depicted that way in any other movie or book. There is only one way out, that’s always been the code, the oath. That one way is death.
There is no way a boss would take such a risk with the Feds and RICO. Easier to just kill him. No more worries of retribution. As they state in the move “Casino” in that famous scene - “Why take the risk”
But, it was great writing because it highlighted Tony’s flaws, and left the door open for revenge. So it’s all good. But, I do think they depicted the Feds as a bunch of goons, which wasn’t accurate.
TheCaretaker
Well that’s an interesting viewpoint that you have there chief, but I think the irony of the situation has gone over your head.
Here’s why.
LaManna was old school, had no real respect for younger members of the family, and preferred business to be done as it was back in the old days.
The irony is that had Tony adopted the old school principals that LaManna so craved, then LaManna would have been dead. Tony let him off lightly by setting him up for a parole violation and getting him sent back to the Hoosegow. I think the quote was “it’s the kindest thing to do under the circumstances”
LaManna should have been toast. Whacked. Sleeping with the fishes. Mooo.
Some may have considered Tony weak for not finishing the job properly.
Did Tony move too soon? No baby. He moved too softly. What he did was effectively rat out a family member to the law enforcement. That would never have happened back in the day. What if LaManna had gotten wind of the set-up and turned witness for the FBI?
It was sloppy work from Tony, leaving the door open for yet another enemy to later seek revenge. And from the writers point, it was beauuutiful. Absolutely beauuutiful.
TheCaretaker
That conversation didn’t happen. Like the writer wouldn’t have found out why it was cut.
Do me a favour.
TheCaretaker
He was a Samurai. Not a Ninja.
I guess you missed that part. It ran throughout the entire movie.
TheCaretaker.
It didn’t come across that way to me. I never got the impression that he was bluffing.
It is a sound theory you have though. The series liked to leave a lot things open to interpretation.
I get the made guy issue, but it’s supposed to be against the rules to hit on another made guys wife, least not an actual bosses wife. That would have seen a hit sanctioned. Furio‘s own guys would have probably carried it out on Tony’s behalf.
TheCaretaker
Fear of Tony finding out?
Tony did find out big boy. That’s why he vanished.
There is a comment in one episode shortly after he vanished when Tony snears at Camilla and states “yeah we have people looking for him and when they find him that will be that”
This show deliberately left open loose ends.

Pale Rider - Pale Horse.
The Pale Horse is one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. The pale Horse is named Death and brings with it hell.
That’s where I believe the name Pale Rider comes from. Thats the origin.
“I looked, and there before me was a pale horse. Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth”

Accompanying insults?
If you consider being called a snowflake to be insulting then you are soft in the middle big time.
I’m not arguing with anyone. I’m making a point on a movie forum that is designed to promote reaction and debate. If you consider every differing point to be an argument against, then in you’re in for a hard road ahead sunbeam.
Give it whatever name you like. I suggest the issue lies with your overwhelming sense of entitlement.

You obviously have too much time on your hands.
I post for me, not for some snowflake generation buzz word.
So every differing opinion to your own is a troll? What a great attitude to go through life with.
Good luck with that.
By the way, one typo doesn’t constitute poor grammar. It happens. Poor grammar is when somebody can’t string a single paragraph together and the content makes no sense.
That’s not the case here as you can clearly understand my original post hence you replied.
Hope this clears up any confusion.
