Why are they blaming Vicki for "spreading this rumor"? That rumor was out before they got married! AND during their off season, after Tamras divorce to Simon / before Eddie was shown on show, it was in a magazine with the pictures of them in the bath tub.
As far as "Unabomber", it's done.
However, if they are (or were) to make more Manhunts, the premise of the show would be about serial killers and the hunt to detain them while telling us the back story.
For real! In hindsight, SHE caught the Unabomber! She didn't have a name, yet, but she saw something in that letter that not even forensic analysis saw. And he worked side by side with them, reading the same stuff as them! He just tossed it like it was another dead end!
And Fitz couldn't even look her in the eye! Didn't try to save her job or anything. He wanted full credit and his ego cost a valuable coworker that'd be there for him. He also used the woman professor to piece together and help with work load.
He pretty much put his family on the sidelines for this case. He's selfish. I kinda have empathy and know he was belittled needed to prove something.
But to actually tell her "Well you did break protocol. You did send the document. You know when you sent the address, what'd you think was going to happen? "
Ummm a**h***, she did that for you. Because she believed in you and y'all were partners! She helped break open the case!!!
Ughh just lost respect! And not to get all feminist but another man stepping over a great woman to get ahead in their career!

But seriously, this is probably why he started to kill anyone who was associated with his crimes after they were fulfilled or attempted. Unless you were with him from early on or one of his main soldiers, you were as good as gone!
Becoming famous or trying his hand in politics so he could control the drug cartels and his empire, is what got his particular cartel ruined. While DEA focused on him, other cartels built their empire under the radar. Literally buying politicians instead of becoming one.
After being embarrassed and wasting money, lives and resources, Pablo seemed revenge. Got Gustavo killed! And Gustavo kept warning him. Telling him to stay out of the lime light. Don't get into politics.
After killing innocent ppl and bombings they still told him to cool it!
Then when he got his sweet deal with his sentence, and even got the extradition dropped, he couldn't help himself! Killing his 2 partners bc he was paranoid and thought they were stealing. Let's face it, he was jealous they weren't in there with him. Jealous they could be free and run his business.
Gilberto was smart, but when you tell criminals to turn themselves in with out giving full details you end up like Pablo... Dead.
Had Gilberto told them they bought the election or that at least the President assured them a light sentence for surrendering, everyone or 80% might have been on board. But many probably thought it was a deal with DEA or CIA.

He put a hit out on an effing BABY! He was so paranoid that this baby would grow up and remember and talk about how her daddy was so happy to be working for Pablo, that he blindly went on a plane, thinking he was to only be recording a conversation (of potential next President, of whom he didn't even know what he looked like bc he was looking at the wrong men to record). But that turned out to be a bomb killing innocent people (107 to be exact) and she'd end up talking about this plane bombing. Hell, her mother was faithful to Pablo, and they killed her not knowing she shut her mouth like a good drug cartel wifey.
Remember 9/11?? Remember those innocent ppl, who died bc of terrorist highjacking a plane? This was no different.
If "you will cry tears of blood" episode didn't make your heart pound, then you have no soul.
That poor kid was sent with a bomb, hadn't even killed anyone (yet) working for Pablo. He just thought he was "Robin Hood", a guy who made his neighborhood better. Just naive! Pablo sat there and saw his happy life with his new child thinking he'll make money for and with his boss, only to be used like nothing!
He killed those terrorist that invaded the building holding ALL EVIDENCE against Pablo and his cartel and burned up everything to potentially free him, only to KILL THEM, TOO! WTF!? they wouldn't have ever said anything about that event! And that briefcase didn't even look like $1million for a job like that.
He got ppl to murder for him! You want to see the human side. Hey we all make MISTAKES, but he purposely did horrible things, without thinking about anyone. He made no mistakes to feel empathy for this guy. He choose a life of crime, violate crimes.
He's no better than hitler, or bin laden, you're absolutely right.

Ummm? Didn't they try this?? Tortured several guys to get to Pablo and/or his whereabouts? Like, Gustavo? His cousin? Seemed to me that those closest to him were loyal and would literally die before being a rat. Plus, it also seemed like you're dead either way. They find out you just look at a DEA you're dead! Paranoia will make you do effed up stuff! Make smart decisions and you're still effed.
