I wasn't aware of the accusations, but Spacey is definitely not a pedophile. Being a pedophile means that you are attracted to children who are not yet in puberty. He's definitely a pervert, though. You're right. She was careless and she endangered her friends, but they could've refused to go down there at any time. Juno is definitely at fault there but so are all the other girls. Juno did want to go there but she didn't make anyone go with her. They all willingly went in with her. So, I guess that in a way, Juno isn't the only guilty person. They all are. I agree. A lot of professional critics are calling this movie a "Sci-Fi masterpiece" but I just don't see it. The characters were unlikeable, the movie was very predictable and the CGI wasn't very good. It's not a particularly bad movie, but it gets way more praise than it deserves. The affair is what drove Kane to be selected for the expedition, which drove Portman's character to volunteer to go after him. Right?! Plus it looked like she didn't even care about the fact that her husband was dead. She was sad for about 2 minutes then she just forgot about it as if it was nothing. The horror angle indeed made the movie more interesting, but I thought that they handled it poorly. It definitely wasn't scary at all though. It was still a pretty entertaining and enjoyable movie. It definitely has horror elements to it, so yes, I would call it a horror movie. Yes, the movie didn't need to be told in a non-linear way. Dunkirk was just an all around big disappointment. To be honest, I thought the movie was quite boring too. Dunkirk might be visually stunning, it's still the only worthwhile thing about the movie. You're right. It ain't no Patton. And you did the right thing by abandoning the idea of watching this movie. It is below decent. Yes, Jolie deserves more respect than Hayek. She actually had talent, but was unfortunately blacklisted from a lot of projects due to the fact that she wouldn't put up with Weinstein. While Jolie was slowly sinking and disappearing from mainstream Hollywood projects, Hayek was enjoying the success that she was getting because she decided that getting abused for money wasn't that bad. People should not feel bad Hayek because she ultimately doesn't even feel bad for herself. By exposing Weinstein, she wanted the press and controversy that would come with it. You're right, she's no victim. She accepted what happened and refused to say anything because she wanted to get rich and famous, which she did. She chose not to say anything even though it meant that other innocent women would likely get abused. She doesn't deserve any sympathy. The actresses who decided that they would not put up with it and basically disappeared from the Hollywood are the real victims. I think she made it pretty clear that she would do pretty much anything to get a role. I think what's worse is that she's trying to appear as this relatable and likeable down-to-earth celebrity while she's in fact only in for the money. She even only called out notorious creep and asshole Harvey Weinstein after tons of other women had already exposed him, just to be sure that she wouldn't suffer from any consequences and to look like a poor victim. I haven't seen the movie, but I wouldn't be surprised if she lied about that to be honest. Scott did some great movies, but his recent works are not very good. I don't think he would've done a better job than Denis Villeneuve. I have to agree with you. I've seen it twice in the theatre and I plan to go see it a third time. It's one of the best movies of the last decade. Yeah, kind of...
