First Jadis and then Rosita... maybe the whole praying thing really works. Watch him end up banging Maggie next. I'm willing to bet Daryl didn't even bathe BEFORE the zombie apocalypse. I still don't understand this sentiment at all. There are so many sensible reasons why Rick might not have returned, you could write a book... or a few screenplays about them. You assume "Rick = alive" means "Rick = free" or even that Rick is still Rick. Might be in a cell like Negan. Might have woken up with amnesia. It's... not an issue. You remember how Negan was trying to break/brainwash Daryl so he would join the saviours? Give it a year or two.. and he would have broken. So would Rick. Something else to think about. Like I said.. thousands of possible explanations and storylines here. If boys aren't afraid of their dad, the dad's doing something wrong. Neither. Just a theory that makes sense to me. Trying to connect the dots. To answer your question.. yes they do. Literally everything. You couldn't toast a slice of bread in the presence of a feminist without her somehow thinking it's sexist. I'm 90% sure it's confirmed. "what exactly did Jack do to earn his happy ending?" Raised, protected, and loved his daughter her entire life? He was her father and her dear friend. Educated her, played with her, and would have died to protect her. Not sure why you people hate him so much. Jack was a flawed, but good man. I understand Jack's motivation completely. Patrick got drunk and beat his wife to death. Jack has a daughter to protect. However, I also understand the value of forgiveness and that humans are all just downright flawed, so he treated him more harshly than he probably should have. I get it though. I don't blame him one bit. Imagine if your wife looked like Emily Blunt. Keep it in your pants? Yeah, good luck with that. Predator would slaughter these creatures. Predators hunt and kill Xenomorphs (that's what the Sigourney Weaver aliens are called), and Xenomorphs are deadlier than these things. Raptors wouldn't stand a chance. T-Rex could probably take one down. You missed the point. Iraq had a genuine, modern, organized military, which we defeated in less than 2 weeks. Small groups of pissed off civilians (aka insurgents) however, kept fighting for several years, and were the cause of almost all of our casualties. Point being: militaries are made for fighting other militaries, not small groups of enemies that can hide anywhere and fight with guerilla tactics. It's very easy for me to believe the bulk of our military were simply slaughtered by the monsters, because obviously, they would try to fight them... and fail. To quote somebody much smarter than myself, "The most powerful military in the world proved all but useless for taking out these insurgents armed with old AK-47s and homemade IEDs." I thought it was clear the monster at the end was only vulnerable because it opened its face armor, which it only did because of the hearing aid feedback. If it had its shell closed, the pellets would have bounced off its face and left it without a scratch. It was well made, I guess... just a horrible, senseless premise. The way VR works in the movie just doesn't make sense. I couldn't make enough sense of it to suspend my disbelief and enjoy the movie. I wonder if the Creeper could beat these things in a fight? I bet he could. I love thinking about shit like that. Not surprised it made more than Ready Player One... because that movie, in the words of Colonel Sanders, was "goddamn slop". A Quiet Place was actually a really, really good movie, that I think deserves a couple rewatches. Only one way to stop the human race from going extinct... People in this scenario should be having as many babies as humanly possible, very carefully of course. Yeah, makes no sense. Why is it that a first-world military can defeat a third-world military (Like Iraq's) in a week, but are still battling small groups of insurgents there to this day? Doesn't make sense. Flawed premise! You're gonna die anyway, very soon in the grand scheme of things. Doesn't matter if it's 10 minutes from now, or 50 years from now. If death is inevitable, your life has no value whatsoever. Also, if you die of old age, chances are, your death will be long, drawn out, and very painful... like it is for most old people. Might even experience the hell of alzheimers and dementia. A quick, nearly painless death at the hands of a super-predator that kills you in 1 second flat... I could think of worse ways to die. As in, almost every other way to die.
