Really? Is Hutchinson the difference of Trump being a piece of shit or not? She’s far from the only evidence that could land Trump in jail. As much as you’d hate to admit it, Trump has decades of evidence that has him neck deep in legal problems (plural). IMO, anyone that builds a library of movies does so on their own tastes. It’s kinda simple: if you love it, buy it, if you don’t, don’t. I do love how different people identify with different movies though. I’ll admit that this thread has inspired me to give this movie another watch. This is the seminal Christmas movie to me. Born in the late 70s, this movie was absolutely unavoidable to me as one of those consistent visual representations of the era. The only other Christmas movie that touches it is “Christmas Vacation”. Personally, those are the two most iconic Christmas movies. Well, this really shouldn’t have been a surprise to anyone. Trump has a vast history of being disingenuous. Trump has an open history of fucking people over and over. It’s actually weirdly fascinating to me that anyone would want to die on that hill. It’s like the weirdos that send love letters to serial killers in jail anymore. Even his FOX sycophants are cutting bait - He’s become “too crazy” for even some of the biggest Republican cock suckers. What’s personally scary, is that Republican officials still kiss that ring. Truly blows my mind! He’s on the brink of legitimately going to jail, and there’s still a culture that believes that he’s anything bigger than a celebrity grifter. Yeah, fast food has gotten weirdly expensive recently, which I would think would force people to get a little more creative with their budgets. I’m of the opinion of that if anyone is working (any job) for 40-60 hours a week, they shouldn’t have to be on the brink of a heart attack over something as common as a flat tire. A business doesn’t function at all without its employees. In my experiences, it’s fascinating how often I’ve seen rich owners exploit immigrants to their benefit. They always vote against it, but secretly LOVE exploiting them. It’s actually kinda fascinating to me how anyone could look at Trump, and think “yeah I want to die on that hill”. He’s been screwing people over for decades. This shouldn’t have been a surprise. TBH, it goes both ways. My personal intent to come to this site is simply to check out movie opinions (like I used to on IMDB). What I do notice is that there are about 20-40 handles here that practically live here non-stop to throw a strong political angle to everything. I have a political opinion from time to time, but there are people here that make this site a part of their daily political diet. I mean, if you keep going to the same bar with the same regulars, arguing the same details…should you really be surprised that you’re arguing with the same people? You guys are like magnets to each other; itching to fight with each other (while publicly “wondering” why anyone is obsessed with you). Personally, the whole thing is humorously entertaining to me….but there’s no way that I could be here (and post) as often as you guys seem to desire to argue with each other. I think this might be a case where word of mouth might actually help this movie. It feels like an “under the radar” movie, but it’s a very entertaining movie. It’s not for everyone, but it’s never boring. I think this might be a case where word of mouth might actually help this movie. It feels like an “under the radar” movie, but it’s a very entertaining movie. But there really aren’t “killings” in the movie like you’d traditionally expect. It’s not like the guests were getting killed off one-by-one like a standard horror movie. It was a world-renowned chef toying with his stupidly rich, pampered guests - they’re not used to be toyed with. It’s telling that the chef almost instantly knew that Margot didn’t belong there, and he afforded her an opportunity to escape. She wasn’t a part of the plan, and identified with her. Loved it! Walking out after seeing it, I instantly said “I want a copy of this”. IMO, the more you’re interested in food culture, the more you’ll like it. This is an actor’s workshop kind of movie. Nothing particularly flashy about this movie in a mainstream sense, but it’s a very solid movie with fantastic performances with an emotional scope. IMO, this feels like a very under-appreciated movie. I don’t hear anything about this movie outside of the year that it was released, but I could easily recommend it to anyone that appreciates period films with great acting. I don’t necessarily look at it like they’re pansies. It’s just that they publicly say a shit ton of things that they’d never repeat under oath. The intent is to sway public opinion firstly (and mostly), and then play victim when the hammer falls…with the knowledge that they’ve already garnered a following with their public words. They understand that a lot of people live and die with their personal politics, and that it can be very easy to manipulate those people. I remember watching this movie and “Hereditary” back-to-back when they were on Prime, and I don’t think I’ve felt as much anxiety in my adult life from watching movies than I did that day. Hehe…Like, this pic is comparable to the Ted Bundy pic. A known serial killer being visually represented by a pic that makes him look insane makes sense. I just think it’s funny that THIS is the pic that was chosen to represent Princess Beatrice. What a weird take. Taking the vaccine never guaranteed immortality. I mean, if I was in a gunfight, wearing a bullet proof vest wouldn’t guarantee my survival, but I’d rather have it. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Well, I guess it would pretty funny if this site chose the goofiest pic of everyone represented in it. Kinda like using a pic of Dennis Hopper from his role in Super Mario Bros to represent his body of work. First off, Damone is a top 5 oldest looking “teenager” I’ve seen in movies…which makes his actions a little creepier. That being said, yeah he’s a douche anyway. He made very friendship-ending decisions in this movie. How his character ends up in the movie is generously kind in comparison to what it would have been in reality. Hehe…you guys are really fucked up 😆! The dude had a stroke, but his intentions are in your better interest. Plus, he won anyway. That’s done. All that’s left is to go thru the irrationally mental gymnastics of defending a mental void that is Herschel Walker. Only a dumbass like Trump could endorse an insult like Walker. It truly is astounding that Walker is running for senate…and that anyone would actually vote for him. Spoiler: He’s going to lose, so the clown show can end…and then continue with a minimally lesser clown like DeSantis. Trump was so poisonous to the Republican Party that it almost seems like an inside job. Give it another year before that’s the next conspiracy theory - The democrats planted Trump to sour the party. It’s actually a less crazy theory than Jewish space lasers. Well, who would be motivated to have a killing spree in a gay club? 🤔 To be fair, it could have been an ex-lover of the owner (or someone that frequents the place). Love makes certain people do insane things. TBH, I didn’t instantly view the incident as a politically driven agenda…but if it was, well, it is what it is. There’s no sugarcoating the intent. If that was the shooter’s intent, how else do you cover that story? 🤷🏻‍♂️
