He knew the ticket had been removed from the wallet and had to play along to figure out what happened to it. More similar to Gravity to me. What would that have changed? You'd still have the priest telling him the child wasn't his, the investigation into the hospital and the cemetery all leading to getting the daggers. It wouldn't have fallen out any different. He was coming to tell him there was no record of a John Shooter most likely. That and the rest of the events convinced the sheriff what was really going on. That's clearly what Stu thought as well when he hesitated to give Billy the knife during that scene. Actually many historians think Jesus was short haired. That's like saying Mystery Science Theater is a crap show because it's just people watching bad movies. So you'll accept immortal caveman and Jesus, but not a serial killer or the Anti-Christ? Spoilers ahead. This movie opens up even more possibilities though. From the first film to this one, we have nothing to go on about John's life except his word. The kid turning it around to him possibly being the anti-christ is yet another option. Then you have the suggestion of John being this immortal serial killer as well. The film is asking you to question John's story even more now and clearly they plan more for the story to leave it all so open. I tend to rewatch the earlier stuff more. Seasons 1-4 to me are still great and then it dips so much for the drama. Honestly, that's the only flaw is Lex having complete amnesia. If they had simply erased his memories of Clark, I'd be fine with it. When Rachel first watches her in the video, it's the first one. But when it comes together and the twist revealed, it's the second way. Up to a point we were meant to believe she was an innocent girl with powers she couldn't control, but she actually was evil and wanted the death curse to spread. Meh, he could run and jump everywhere so it wasn't an issue for me. We'd have no bathtub scene and have a retread of those Lex/Fine conversations. Nope. The kids all got along, there was no Cody, and the same episodes aired over and over and over again. They would never go back to showing earlier episodes anywhere so I quit watching since nothing new. Had to deal with smart girl/dumb guy couple (Dana/Rich in this case) that never made sense in the shows of the 90s. Each issue they face is she's so smart and he's so dumb. They even had their musical/western ep in there. Running out of plots much? Descent was when Lex went to the dark side completely. Lexmas was just when Lex decided he would never abandon the money or power for a normal life. Well Barbossa was Jack's first mate and yet somehow a pirate lord. Also they went from everybody missing Jack and wanting him back in the 2nd movie to only doing it because he's a pirate lord in the 3rd movie. Barry was only sad and emo after Iris died. The remnant became Savitar after he was badly shunned by the rest of team flash. He went crazy from wanting to stop the pain and during his time in the speed force as well. If he didn't kill Iris, then he doesn't exist.
