I found season 1 much better. Season 2, the acting good but I found it boring. I think for me season 1 was interesting because it was focused on why she murdered the guy on the beach and the whole story was complex. You figured out one thing and it added another 2 questions. Season 2 didn't really focus on why the kid did what he did. There were reasons in there but the story focused on his mother and her no longer a cult cult. There were no surprises because it was obvious. Yes we thought credence is going to have something to do with Tom riddle because of nagini as well I really enjoyed it There were alot of new characters introduced but seeing as there are going to be 5 films in total it was going to happen at some point, I did find it strange that Leta had a whole backstory and was killed off but to be fair it was also in part Credences back story. It was a stepping stone to finding out who he is. Queenie joining Grindelwald was quite surprising, you'd think with her ability to read minds she would catch something that wouldn't make her go with him but maybe that will play out later. I have to say everyone seems to have jumped on the Credence is Albus Dumbledores brother but the film never says that. Grindelwald tells him he's a Dumbledore and yes having a first name beginning with an A kind of hints at maybe a brother but there are other options out there, cousin, nephew. I mean with Credence being 18ish then Aberforth could actually be his father, he would have been 25/26 when he's born. We don't know who the woman was on the ship, maybe she was Credences mother maybe not, maybe his mother never told the family about the birth and thats why she was going to America. I would have argued that Ariana could have been Credences mother but she was too young, interestingly enough however Aberforth described his sisters magic as turning inwards and being explosive in Deathly Hollows, sounds just like credence. Might explain why Dumbledore wants Newt to find Credence because he knows whats happening to him Yes when the witches turned up it was pretty cool. Plus they seemed to be ok in the world outside. Coco being a witch surprised me! I can't wait to see more of the crossover and the return of several characters. Killing off that many characters was also a surprise, I thought more would survive. Still no idea what Michael is up to The first 3 seasons are my favourites. Season 01 Murder House remains my top one but I really did like Asylum and Coven. It's funny because I remember Asylum not being that popular at the time but it has really grown on people over the years. I wasn't all that keen on Freak Show and Hotel but they do have some outstanding moments. I think Lily Rabes Aileen Wuornus was pretty epic in Hotel. Its a well known fact that all the seasons are connected somehow. Even Ryan Murphy has stated this. There alot of articles listing all the connections. Yeah I kinda felt the same way. I really enjoyed the first half of the season seeing how people get sucked into a cult and then end up acting on it. It seemed like Evan Peters character had some deep dark plan but then it sort of devolved into him just becoming nuts and out of nowhere that whole men are better than women shit. I enjoyed Roanoake. I'm not sure why everyone slates it, it did have a different feel than the other seasons. I say give it ago and make your own judgement. Binge watching should be fine although I do find that if I'm watching one show too many seasons one after another I get bored! Yes. :) Season 04 is just finishing up. Annoyingly there is only season 01 on UK Netflix. I mean I know there has to be a deal so get shows on Netflix but Season 2 and 3 should be up there by now. So frustrating. I'm ok with the pacing. I find with any season in AHS that I'm frustrated at the beginning because I just want to know whats happening. That's impatience for you :) I have to admit it took me until seeing the Rubber Man to realise who Michael was. It has been 7/8 years though since season 01 so I forgive my brain. Was excited to see the Rubber Man though because it's another connection other than Michael to Season 01. I didn't see the android thing coming (also are they androids or will they go an alien route?) but I do keep questioning if the whole thing is actually real. Has the world really ended or is it not real like The Matrix, or are they in a dream or is it an elaborate set up for a social type experiment to see how people react. But them I remember we have Michael the anti-christ and what would he get out of that. I'm liking Cody Fern as Michael. I'm getting a very interview with a vampire vibe from the character. Not looking forward to Emma Roberts return, I'm not a big ER fan but I suppose her Madison character was ok and worked for Coven. I'm just not sure I want to see Madison temper tantums in this series but I will wait and see how it plays out before judging. On a side note I feel sorry for Adina Porter, yes they are all stuck in a dark bunker but so was her character in The 100. So a lot of darkness while shes been acting this year! :) I don't think that has anything to do with it. Nor should it. I too have had these thoughts. Maybe it's a long term experiment? I really like AHS. I like that each season is a mini series and you can watch them in any order. What's great about also is that everyone can have their own favourite season. Murder House remains my favourite. I also like Coven a lot. For me I think my least favourite was Freak Show. I actually quite liked Roanoke where as I know a lot of people didn't. I actually would have preferred that season to have ended an episode earlier. As for the new season I'm really liking Cult. I think a lot of people are getting fixed on the fact that the storyline is using political issues. Maybe they will come into play a little more in the season and have greater meaning but for me this season is more about fear and also how people react to each other and their differences. It's also showing the negative aspects of all the characters not just 'bashing one type of person. Good news! I've only just discovered this show and watched all 3 seasons in 2 days. This way the show knows how long it has and can wrap up the series well. But seriously how is this show not as popular as other shows? It has great casting, the cast all have great chemistry, it's funny but can be serious when it needs to. I like the storyline and I think their LGBT handling is different to a lot of shows, it's not spoken about, it's not made a big deal of, it just is.
