I have heard that they brought in Amanda to replace Alexandra because Amanda was older and more mature therefore more believable as a single mother. Kristen was just out of high school with a kid who was a couple of years old which would put her in her early 20's which was the age of Alexandra at the time. Amanda was closing in on 30 when she joined the cast and too old for the part. I thought Alexandra was perfect for the part. They never should have replaced Ephraim with McCook. If they couldn't get the original Mandy just write her off. I think Molly had already had new projects lined up and couldn't do it. Alexis was extremely shy and sometimes people take that as someone who is a jerk and looks down at other people. I believed they fired him because there was no where to put him on the show. Soap was really good in the first season but went downhill after that. Benson was good in the first season and got better as the show went on. The episode where George Steinbrenner hosted had some pretty good sketches. I didn't think Norm was that bad on Weekend Update even though it really wasn't his strong point. I think Mary meant well but she is still new to the whole religious life and doesn't quite understand these things herself. In the episode with the tornado Mary prays and says something along the lines of "I command thee to place protection around this house" which is a huge no no. You don't command God to do things. At the end of the episode Sheldon says that the good news was that the tornado didn't touch their house but the bad news is his mother thinks she had something to do with it. Again this is Mary not understanding that it is God who is doing this and not her. On the Missy using God as a lucky charm Mary overreacts. She should have just explained it to her instead of losing her mind over it. The show just ran it's course like all shows did and bringing in or not bringing in new characters wouldn't have changed anything. They may not have gotten a series final but they did explain that Stockwell let them go because they had fulfilled their agreement and decided to keep helping people. No Prototype 3 is planned which is a shame because I loved this game. The guy walking down the street and getting shot dead by a scared neighbor in "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street". Both of them are liked at school but not in with the popular crowd and both have brothers who think their cooler than they really are and hang out with a group of dorks which they lead. The difference is that Erica is much more confrontational than Phoebe. I saw the movie for the first time on AMC back when they actually showed American movie classics and I enjoyed the movie. The one problem I had was the prank they played on Joey. I know that people will say that back then times were different and kids were more free but what those kids did to Joey was not only cruel but stupid. I agree however the show has been canceled. I am sure we will see the two child actors in other shows soon. Sleeping with a married person isn't being stupid or an error in judgement but a selfish act. Rory knew very well that sleeping with Dean would ruin a marriage but she didn't care except for what she wanted and that was typical Rory. It's like when she sees someone sitting under her study tree and tells him he has to move and when he doesn't she goes home in a bad mood. Luke would complain about it. Wesley was the worst character because he was so annoying. I would say Enos was dumber. Roscoe use to be very competent and honest sheriff but the county voted down him receiving a pension and that's when Roscoe became dishonest. I thought Mary on TBBT could be annoying at times and funny at other times while the Mary on YS isn't as annoying or as funny. The backstory is Beverly lost her mother when she was a small child and never got to experience a relationship her and that is why she smothers her children and is so protective of them.
