I've grown to like Ben. Despite his Hollywood royalty roots, he seems to appreciate the fact he has a dream job many film fans would do anything to have. It was hard to get used to anyone other than Robert Osborne unless they were co hosting with him. Sadly his health does not seem to be great these days. At 84 though, he still looks good on camera and does a great job as always.
It's not even close. Tara could disappear with no explanation and only desperate virgins would care. Eugene is amusing at least.
Twister?!!! Odd that so many remember him for one of his weakest films. Paxton was always great but Pvt. Hudson from Aliens is the first role I think about. "Why don't you put her in charge?" still always makes me smile.

In earlier seasons I would post there when show was not on hiatus. I would still drop in there every now and then but the whiny self righteous types were really annoying. That fat neck beard kid that fancied himself a white knight for example.
Eugene should flip sides. He's more believable as a weasel into self preservation than anything resembling heroic.

If you really want to show you have balls then boycott amazon as well since that's who actually closed the message boards. I haven't used either site since the boards were removed and won't again.
I've only watched it once but my initial rating is 7/10. I got the distinct impression most of the love it gets is because it's not an English language film. Nothing excites spoiled white folks more than poor swarthy people in a sub titled movie.

Whenever TCM ran a particularly obscure movie especially one of my favorites I would post a thread on FG 30 minutes or so before it started. It's always fun to get others reactions to off beat movies.
Of course. Love me some TCM. They even show Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky on occasion as well as The Black Cat (1934) two of my favorite movies and essential viewing for any aficionado of cool unique movies.
I'm not a big fan of the new weekend host though. She's sort of boring. She seems nice but too blasé.
I'm not trying to argue with anyone but this is how I came up with my theory. Before I joined, I went to the Archer board because I knew I had the thread with the most replies and wanted to see if it was there. It wasn't. After I joined my thread appeared. Either way I'm glad many of our posts have survived and I hope the site becomes as popular as the old one.

Or you could just not read them. I know that's a radical idea that seems to blow the minds of many people but if you can get over the horror of having already read God only knows how many posts that OUTRAGED you then give my outlandish idea a try.
