Agree with 100% of what you say. A lot of the writing about Nicole is unbelievable, particularly what happens in episode 9, which I won't spoil for anyone who hasn't seen it. She can't become Supergirl the way D is Dark Angel. I'm just reading this now. I thought I was the only one who thought the character is *way* too flamboyant this season. Gay, straight, whatever, he's just weird. He *AND* D are weird, come to think of it. :) It stunk. I mean, it really, really stinks. Great summary and review. I didn’t think of this as a political thriller, but you’re right—it was. It was so reminiscent of the XFiles, too. Because I don’t care how accurate theatrical films rely on historical record, I didn’t mind the liberties it took at all. The script was protean and brilliant, like the editing. I saw the film for the first time today. That last act with Kevin Costner and the incredibly gruesome footage was unforgettable, for many reasons. Superb film. You're welcome! Every time I rewatch Clue, I see something "new." Pursuing what you wrote above, I noticed this time that Mr. Green is the only character who, whenever attention focuses on him, does a pratfall. Colonel Mustard is verbally funny, sometimes hilarious, and Mr. Boddy is non-stop genius+funny. That's why it's so easy to miss how Green deflects everything--except Yvette--by collapsing to the floor. If you buy the third ending (even if you like the other two endings but don't buy that Green is homosexual, which in 1954 would definitely shut down all curiosity into his private life), then the reason Green stands so long at the attic doorway is because he's enjoying the view.
