Costumer's Replies

Similar concepts do not constitute plagiarism. This seems to be a story of what if a different path had happened. It is obviously based on Superman, but can easily be seen as a different story. >>>Unless somehow Banner only snapped the people back at the current time. Which would mean everyone that wasn't snapped has lost 5 years with their loved ones.<<< That is precisely what happened. Tony specified to Hulk that the snapped where to be returned to the current time, i.e. 5 years after they disappeared. It is specifically stated in the film. So Peter is back and its 5 years have passed and he is 16. Ned is back and its 5 years have passed and he is 16. Since we have seen them in the trailers for Far from Home, MJ and Flash were snapped, are now back and its 5 years later and they are 16. I don't think they were glossed over. We were shown that things had happened: places abandoned and so forth. But it had also been five years. Things were returning to normal. Cap and Iron Man met Hulk in a restaurant and they were eating ice cream. Kids came over to him to ask for his autograph. These are markers that things were improving. If Ned hadn't been snapped, then yes, he would be 5 years older and out of High School. However, it is fairly obvious that Ned was snapped as was Flash and MJ, since they all appear in Far from Home. There is no violation of probability that they all were snapped. They've all come back now and are back in High School. >>>or maybe he was adopted, and once the Waynes were milled Alfred took responsible for him instead of allowing him to go back to a children's home, or the hood, as the guys in the video joke. <<< Haven't watched the video. Just a note, if he were adopted he most certainly would not "go back to a children's home." Adoption makes him the Wayne's son, not a foster child. He would be heir to the Wayne fortune and enterprises. The Waynes would have a guardian and system in place to care for him. Tony didn't think so. He very specifically told Hulk to bring back the snapped to the current time (that is 5 years after the snap) He said, specifically, that he didn't want to chance negating his marriage and the birth of his daughter. If everyone came back 5 years ago, anything could have happened. Bringing them back 5 years later, everything that happened in that five years , including his marriage and his child, stay in place. Because he's 16 years old. No one who was snapped aged a minute while they were gone. Though no one has said, Flash, Ned and MJ all probably snapped too. So they will all need to go back to school when they come back; just like millions of other students who were snapped. And no, it isn't a violation of probability that Peter and his three friends were all snapped. Ah, another pretentious, self-important individual who sees his preferences as the only ones any intelligent person would like and anything else is "remedial;" people of limited intellect who should stay out of important work and discussions. The signs are clear and render you unfit for human conversation. And may I ask your examples? This post is both offensive and incomprehensible. Their ability to see IS part of their credibility. Their ability to move quickly enough to see what they said they saw IS part of their credibility. What do you see as an evaluation of credibility? Its not just an attorney (prosecution or defense) catching someone in a lie. If the prosecutor produces a witness that says they saw the defendant murder the victim and the defense produces a witness that says the defendant was across town at the time of the murder, and neither can be moved from their testimony, the jury must evaluate which is more credible. Part of that evaluation is the witnesses physical abilities or limitations, or the physical logistics. The woman, IRRC, testified that she saw everything through the windows of a moving el train. I would find that very iffy. The strobing effect alone can cause disorientation to the vision. If the elderly gentleman can't get from his bed to the door to see the defendant going down the stairs, his testimony is questionable, even if he believes what he saw. Good to know the Justice League died in 1960. That's when the first Justice League/Justice Society meet up occurred. You know, the Justice League of Earth-One and the Justice Society of Earth-Two: different dimensions. Or the Avengers died in 1971 when we first met the Squadron Supreme (the heroic version of the Squadron Sinister from 1969). Quite simply, your thesis has no validity. Various dimensions have happened before and multiple times. Their appearance has no effect on a serie's health and is not a symptom of series ill-health. >>>The snap to bring everyone back is bothering me, I just can't wrap my head around 3 billion people reappearing after being gone for 5 years. The United States we saw in this movie was in shambles. The streets were filled with clutter and junked cars, houses looked dilapidated. What if the bank foreclosed on your house in those 5 years?<<< All interesting questions. But it does seem the US, at least, had mostly recovered. Hulk met Cap and Iron Man at a restaurant eating ice cream. Kids came up to him to ask for his autograph. I'm sure many things still needed to be done and everything wasn't peachy-keen. But things had obviously gotten better. He lost her. He loves her, though not in romantic sense. Thus he suffered from the sacrifice. Your welcome. There is such an immense amount of material in comics that there is no way everyone can keep up. I was an avid collector of comics from the early 70's until about 2000, when I decided I was spending entirely too much on them. Even then, I was only familiar with a fraction of everything that was being published. >>>Their upcoming Batgirl series ,or as the SJW PC nuts have renamed it Batwoman, even features a gay lead.<<< Just to correct a point, in the comics Batwoman and Batgirl are two different characters. Batwoman, who dates from the 50's was Kathy Kane. Batgirl, who dates from the 70s (IRRC, it could be the late 60's) was Barbara Gordon, Commissioner Gordon's daughter. IRRC, there was a Batgirl who preceded Barbara Gordon. I think she was a niece of Kathy Kane. The upcoming Batwoman series is about Kathy (now Kate) Kane You have to LOSE that which you love. It does not say kill. While the term sacrifice often implies action, it doesn't require it. None of the stones were destroyed. They were returned to where the Avengers collected them. If the stone were found again it MIGHT be possible to rebuild Vision. Since the majority of the story's themes date to the 18th century, I think you are completely collating typical artistic evaluations with older texts. I am an artist myself. Art can be representative of current events; indeed it often is. It can also exist for its own sake. I doubt any of your references entered the Disney artist's heads. Simply, for whatever reason, they don't appeal to you. That's okay. Your own taste is never wrong, for you. Just as other people's taste isn't wrong for them. Many love the Potter books. I'm one of them. I also love Tolkein and Lewis and Anderson and scores of others. I read LOTR decades before Potter came out. I was born in the 1950s. I would agree that most of these other authors named are superior writers. But there is nothing wrong with Rowling. To appeal to so many, and in the books long before the films, is an indicator (not a proof) that she is more than mediocre. This type of series may never appeal to you, and, as I said, that's okay. But don't be dismissive of the many to whom it does appeal.
