No, it's not.
Well, "Cheif Executive", it's CHIEF. Maybe if you're going to pretend to be someone of importance to scare Jim into shutting this place down, you should learn how to spell first.
It's pretty much the same on Twitter, too. Highly amusing.
Wow, this place is really starting to take shape now. There's really no need to sign up for any of the other IMDb replacements (for me, anyway), Movie Chat is where it's at. Can't wait to see how it grows in the future. :)
I see the user reviews being the next to go. You know, to "enhance the user experience". Riiiiight...
I was going to spend the day saving as many posts as I could, but everything's gone. Just like that. Bastards.
Thanks, Jim. Your work here is just amazing. :)
Which genres do you like?
I haven't been to the movies since... Rush Hour 2. Wow, that long ago, lol. But I don't regret it. I don't mind waiting for a movie I want to see come out on Blu Ray or whatever.
However, if a classic movie I love, such as Suspiria, or Metropolis, or Casablanca, were playing near me, I'd totally go. I wouldn't want to miss those experiences.
I guess what I'm saying is I haven't cared enough about more recent movies to bother seeing them at the theater.
Awesome, Jim, and thanks again for this board! I'm glad not everything on the IMDb boards will be lost now. :)
And I agree with klownz regarding the horror board. There are a lot of cool threads I'd like to see archived here.
I vote for archiving the actor/director/etc boards! It would really suck to lose them, so if you could, that would be awesome. :)
And thank you for doing this! I was never signed up on the IMDb, but I always lurked on the boards for additional information. And now I get to continue doing that here, lol.
