If anything, this episode proved fooling Negan it's so easy it's a wonder no one has managed to take the reins from him already. It seems the Saviors are content enough entertaining a huge baby to point out the emperor has no clothes.
I don't think Eugene it's "biding his time", but taking the coward's way out like he always has. The Wives plan was sound: take Negan out, and the rest would just tear each other apart. He wasted a precious opportunity.
Killing off the doctor only proved Negan is not only an unstable sociopath ill prepared to actually lead anyone but his brainwashed kindergarden, but painfully stupid and lacking the most basic people-reading skills. It's not wonder Dwight has managed to deceive him for so long, my goodness, Carol could run circles around this man baby.
Dude, we shed gallons of blood every month, go under the knife for purely cosmetic reasons at least five times as many as men and get to pop out actual human beings after going through nine months of certified body horror.
There is no such thing as "squeamish" women, just people who don't enjoy the genre for varied personal reasons, regardless of their gender. Do you really think shows such as Hannibal and Supernatural have such predominantly female audiences because their leads are pretty? Have you took a look at what young girls read are these days? From where did you though the dystopian boom originated from?
Speaking for personal experience, I've been an horror buff since before I was old enough to read the subtitles. My father owned a huge video store and I devoured slashers that definitely weren't intended for my age with glee. I have found that, in general, my female friends are more inclined to the supernatural genre than the males I know - but there has to be some kind of plot attached to it, gore alone wouldn't do it for them.
Lovely place. I'd just like to point out there are not longer accepting new members.
The Oscars it's and has always been a popularity contest. That's why Emma Stone won over Isabelle Huppert last night, and the reason actors of Edward Norton, Sam Rockwell, Ralph Fiennes and Helena Bonham Carter's caliber continue to "fly under the radar" when the Sandra Bullocks of this industry get to walk away with an statuette.
My Google fĂș it's failing me right now, but It actually happened at least one time before with the Best Actor Award, if I am not mistaken.
Right? I was so glad they didn't won after that. The guy was there - he saw how nervous Warren Beatty look when he realized they had given him the wrong envelope (he kept staring at the audience, maybe looking for someone in charge to handle things in a more sensible way - obviously, it backfired), and it was actually Faye Dunaway who announced the wrong winner, mistaking Beatty's attempt to clue her in what was happening.
What a douche.
I can't even listen to the score for "Fluke" without curling up in a fetal position. That movie was brutal.
And I've been told "Big Fish" it's supposed to be a feel good movie, but it hits too close to home for me. I have never been able to re-watch the ending, even thought it's one of my all time favorites.
Then you have tragedies without closure like "The Reader" and "The Heart of Me", and movies that shouldn't be tearjerkers but ended up punching you in the gut because you just aren't expecting it, like "My Girl", "Bridge To Terabithia" (both based in the same childhood destroying book), "The Cure" and "Radio Flyer".
Man, "kids" movies can really do a number on me...
Exactly, thought that does not mean they can't fall in love and have romantic relationships. They just do not feel sexual desire.
I feel like the old lady from Titanic at this point... "It's been 84 years..."
Holy cow! I knew I had seen her before but couldn't quite place her without the dirty hair covering half her face.
I really hope they give her some meaty scenes to chew on, she's a terrific actress.
I am afraid not even the writers know at this point. I am inclined to define what they have as a platonic romance myself and pretty much agree with the above poster in regards to Daryl's sexuality (or lack thereof) but, then again, I wouldn't be terribly surprised if they get intimate further along the road. It could go either way.
Whatever they are, though, it's clear to me they are each other "person".
