Soundtrack really poor

Except for "A world Without Love" (never realized this was a Lennon and McCartney joint--I'm guessing mostly McCartney) and a couple others, I didn't recognize any of the songs. They had a raft of memorable 60s songs to choose from, and either because of budget constraints or poor taste, chose mostly trash.

Usually the soundtrack of Edgar Wright movies are pretty good. Maybe you just don't have an extensive knowledge of music or your taste is different than Wrights. Most people have very unremarkable taste in music.

reply

As opposed to your remarkable taste, with which we could then appreciate this great soundtrack?

reply

I like all kinds of music and genres. Most people are stuck in one or two particular genres. I have a large knowledge of music and can appreciate a good soundtrack. I mean someone who can use go from bluesy noise music, to 80's punk and then give us a blast from the past with a little 50's ditty is fine with me. He knows his sh!t.

reply

Correct.

reply

Kind of agree :\ Many of the songs seemed to be more 'modern' songs covered in a '60s style.

reply

This is hilarious as every single song in this movie is a 60's song except the remixed one at the fashion show. What you don't realize is that the "modern" songs you think of (like "Always Something There to Remind Me") were originally 60's songs.

Why I never in all my life!

Oh cute, I'm sure you lead a very fulfilling life trolling a ... movie forum ...

You are being serious? There are a lot of problems with this movie, but the quality of the needle drops is not among them.

reply

Absolutely. I was kind of let down with the movie, but the music is just fine.

reply

I thought the soundtrack was good. Some songs I haven't heard in a long time.

reply

I was a kid in the 60s and I loved the sound track.
