shareSo much praise for Margot. Maybe they figured out that the best way to handle this situation is putting her in the next Mission movie.
sharethey could give her a cameo in MI8 as Cinnamon. Tom be like 'cmon margot. we said we liked your movie and even tweeted a picture buying tickets.. cmon it only be a half day shooting'
then after he be 'ok put her on the damn poster the trailer everywhere!'
What can he say ? They have been using the marketing strategy for 4 films now. I have not seen Op or Barbie but I found Dead a bit lackluster and boring.
If he wants that $1B they need to come up with something fresh. Dead 1 was not cutting edge despite great production value.
Maybe DR1 lackluster BO will force Cruise/McQuarrie to rethink DR2 as they on strike and adjust it accordingly.. maybe taking a 'wild swing' like the end of Indy 5 did (not that it helped the box office).. My guess is they'll introduce some 'Fallout' stuff as that was the biggest MI movie (so maybe Solomon Lane, Julia, Wes Bently, Cavill in a flashback,) and maybe bring back Paula Patton from Ghost Protocol (the next biggest MI)
shareI agree !
shareWhy does everything have to be cutting edge??
shareIt's a graceful way to handle it.
