Wade burning MJ stuff
I felt like they were saying he's burning in hell.
shareI thought it was James. Either way, that isn't how I interpreted it. Both of them expressed love for MJ, although understandably they have very conflicting emotions about him.
I saw the burning of the items MJ had given him as a way of letting go, purging, in an attempt to move on with his life.
But they did close ups on MJ photos burning. Very disrespectful against a dead person, given the implication that they're in hell.
Also I wondered about the thriller jacket. I can't see Wade burning something if it's worth thousands. Surely not a real jacket from Michael.
They showed a number of items being burned. Disrespectful? Towards a man who'd manipulated them and their families, abused their trust, and molested them?
Anyway, I saw no implication of hell. But I do not believe in hell, except the hell we create for ourselves.
I admit I cringed a little bit at the jacket being burned, but it held no good memories, so it'd be worth it to him to burn it.
Well he said he still loves Michael to Matt Lauer. I really don't get Wade.
