I’m not going to major spoil it for everyone who hasn’t binged this is a few days or so but count me really disappointed in over how this ended. All I can say is what’s the use in waking up if you still don’t recall anything? Yes I don’t believe she did….not everything. Thought that this was a one & done series but it’s clear they’re aiming for a season two of this.

Only real thing for me to wonder about is “spoiler” what was it that she & Daniel supposedly “did” to Elliot? Again not a great conclusion to this, I’m bummed that I sat through everything not to get any satisfaction.

Elliot is actually dead. The grave hiding place is a big hint. That's the glitch that made it loop - she tried to wipe her memories of him, and it backfired.

I'm not sure we can say that with any real certainty. Neither Elliot or Daniel appeared in the pod at the end.

Sure they could be in another pod. Or it might be that they aren't real at all and are simply AI within the simulation being used to "jump start" Maura into questioning the reality of her situation.

To tell you the truth I didn’t recognize ANY one from the pod. Couldn’t see them clearly to make out who they were. One other thing to wonder about was if Elliot knew he was dead. If the father (grandfather) explained it to him & if that’s why he seemed to turn against Maura & gave them the needle to inject her.

Unless of course if he was aware of what his father had done & knew it was a bogus injection that would send her to him & if his intention was to help her out. But that’s debatable he/it knew any of that. Does his “simulation” have some sort of sentient? Is it (he) “aware” in any way?

Ha, yeah it was pretty dark!

I don't think the grandfather was in the pod either. All three of them could just be AI I guess. I'm not sure re Elliot and Daniel's state of knowing if they're real or not. We know they were working together and coming in and out of the boat environment and had been involved in previous run throughs. But whether they are actually real and in another pod, or whether they are just AI and part of some scheme to cause Maura to wake up, I'm not sure we know.

It did play a bit slow, and I did not care about most of the characters. I hope season two is not as slow. Wasn't the worst thing I ever watched though.
