Todd gave off a much creepier, almost Norman Bates vibe in this. SPOILERS

In the series, he just struck me as a polite, well mannered guy with no conscience who did what was necessary to keep from getting caught. He never had that creepy horror movie vibe he displayed in this movie. The El Camino Todd seemed more like a serial killer. Basically, two entirely different Todds. I guess you could explain it by saying Todd was showing his real self to Jesse in El Camino when they were alone together, and in BB he was always keeping up a more 'normal' front for Lydia, Walt, Uncle Jack etc.

I thought so too when I first saw the movie, but I just binged the series and El Camino and felt he was pretty much the same. He was so creepy with Lydia, he was emotionless about killing people, and basically acted like a child who doesn't know what he's doing.

That's exactly the vibe that he was giving off in Breaking Bad. He was a creepy sociopath.

Watch Fargo he kind of gives off the same vibe.
