House of Gucci, Napoleon, and now this have all been underwhelming.

Agreed. Although the terrible Italian accents in House of Gucci shoulder at least half the blame for that one.

His last quality film was The Last Duel (2021).

The Last Duel was great, and of course it performed the worst at the box office of his last couple movies.

I actually thought House Of Gucci was alright.

Couldn’t be bothered with Napoleon and reviews revealed it to be as boring as I feared.

Glad II sounds very meh and unnecessary.

I wish Ridley would stop wasting his few remaining years on this slop and finish what he started - the 3rd Prometheus film that was supposed to connect to Alien.

Has this really been a dud? The reviews seem alright, and it seems to be well in box office

Word of mouth from the public is mixed and it slightly underperformed at the box office this weekend. Won't flop outright, but might end up not doing as well as Paramount hoped for. We will see how it holds this weekend.

It is unlikely to make meaningful amount of money, maybe there is a chance it will break even, that is about it.
