Bassett was not Oscar worthy!

I can’t believe she was even nominated for playing a bland and uninteresting character. SPOILER- the only reason she was cited is because she dies at the end.
She should have won the Oscar for playing the late Tina Turner, but of course the academy would rather nominate people for less intriguing roles now a days.

Also a superhero movie getting an acting nomination is rare. Michelle Pfeiffer should have won for playing Catwoman, but Bassett gets nominated for cake walking instead.

Also I’m tired of the Marvel franchise. It’s a big yawn fest. No stakes, predictable storylines, the special effects looks cartoonish. Safe is the best word to describe these silly movies. I miss the original Batman and Superman films from the 80s.
