I mean the science.... it's a fantasy, at best. But the plot/music/acting are not bad.
So, yeah - I'd say it's worth seeing.

I agree, although there's one part of the "fantasy" that does bother me, regardless of suspension of disbelief overall. I reeallly don’t think there was ever an ice age in southern Louisiana, with woolly mammoths and all that.

I had the same question regarding ice age and mammoths in Louisiana, and I performed a quick search:
