So much for the good of the many...

Should have just fired on the beacon as soon as they got there. Risking the entire galaxy to MAYBE save 3 or 4 people? That's a pretty big roll of the dice.

And geez did this this actually have more "final" scenes than Return of the King???? How is that even possible?

reply

You're not wrong, but I loved every second of it. What an absolute blast of an ending for every Next Generation fan.

The beacon is inside the cube and they couldn't located it with sensors. That's why they beamed over.

reply

Yeah no, they beamed over to rescue Picard's son. They took the Enterprise in to destroy the beacon.

This

It was stupid Galaxy class ship is massive it would make more sense to separate the ship and use the saucer as distraction outside while the other one navigates inside.

The whole season was poorly written people are only liking it because they are seeing old people and ships.

While for some they would love the moment to see a rebuilt Ent D I would have liked to see either Voyager or Defiant used which would make much more sense or even defiant onboard ent D and used to go inside.

I loved it how Troi says "save the galaxy" when all she really means is a tiny part of the explored regions of the Alpha & Beta Quadrants.
