I hate the way April looks in this.
The turtles don't look great either, but April is a disaster. She's a reporter. Why does she look younger than the turtles and orders Pumpkin Spice lattes at Starbucks?

shareRolled my eyes so hard when Leo saw April for the first time and reacted like he was looking at the Megan Fox version of April and not Lizzo's doppelganger.

But the whole animation style is beyond fugly especially most characters outside of the turtles. Even Splinter is busted looking. Like WTAF?
She's not, but I wouldn't say Megan Fox is either. April is a mix of smart journalist/athletic body- I think the movies from the 90s were the last to get this right.

shareThey made April a teen in the 2012 series. Shes not a reporter anymore. Shes the same age as the turtles, and she was the love interest for Donatello.
shareWhen I saw the commercials, I didn't realize that was supposed to be April. I thought maybe this story was taking place before they meet April and that girl was someone else.
