Obi Wan disappeared after ROTS. They never saw each other again. He became a hermit and watched over Luke. This show is going to be fiddled with plot holes and retcons.

I don't mind this time. I mean, Disney has made an absolute trainwreck out of Star Wars anyhow. I want this show to go full out and not be slave to established continuity. Clone Wars itself is already a huge can of worms blown up all over the place.

You seem to mind a little.

You actually want them to ignore the original movies? Why would you want that? Especially since you just blame Disney for "ruining" Star Wars. Then turn around and condone contradicting the Holy Grail.

I don't think anyone besides Clone Wars fans care about Clone Wars. The average fan doesn't watch a movie and think, "Well, in Clone Wars...."

When the line was spoken in IV we had no context at that time. Nobody said that ROTS was the last time they saw each other. We do know that we can't trust anything Obi-Wan said in IV as he lied to Luke. But yes, I'm sure that ROTS was supposed to be the last time they saw each other.

I don't think there will be any plot holes in this series. What fan out there would not want to see an Obi Wan/Vader duel in this series? Would you rather watch a series where all Obi Wan does is look over a young Luke? I am hoping Obi Wan and Vader have several interactions here
