My wife really liked it. She jumped at EVERY jumpscare, even when she knew they were coming.
I didn't think much of it. I found it kinda boring and not much happening other than being attacked throughout the whole movie.
I really wanted to know...... if that gator got of the shower. 🤷🏻♂️

shareIt was okay. I was only let down because Tarantino ranked this as his favorite of 2019 (prior to him seeing Irishman). And the critics were also rather ecstatic about it, so I went in expecting something very wicked clever or something. But I kept seeing the same predictable tropes of creature features/horror films. Now I get the "it did what it set out to do", but the high praise made me think it did something more.
Barry Pepper and the daughter's acting was very good though.
I liked it. Suspend disbelief for a few things but it had me on the edge of my seat especially the last 20 minutes or so. After she said ‘you’ve got to be fucking kidding me’ I said it myself like three times. When I turned it on I had no idea it was Alexandre Aja either. Good Saturday afternoon flick
