0.5 stars out of 4 … the review says the pacing is too poor, the movie is too long (144 mins), scenes are repetitive , cliches are plentiful

This review says that there is too many extraneous content, the accents in various characters are hard to understand, and the ending relies on too many coincidences. 3/10 score

I can’t see the actual review for this one, but the title is, “Den of Thieves 2: Pantera’ offers smaller returns than predecessor”

I remember seeing the first one. Was nothing special to me. Still questioning why it got a sequel.

I thought the first one was alright: cliched, but tense and exciting.

If you recall the ending of Part I, the filmmakers were setting themselves up for a sequel. And from what I hear, the first film developed a bit of a following on streaming during the pandemic . The bigger question is why they waited so long for this sequel

The first one made $80 million on a $30 million budget theatrically and was regarded as a hit. Apparently that was good enough for the studio to greenlight a second film.

The first one is far better.

The 1st movie was basically a poor man's "HEAT" with Al Pacino and Deniro practically scene for scene if you compare the 2

As an update - the RT score is currently 67% after 24 reviews, which isn't too bad. However, I'm curious about how there aren't more reviews. This is really the first blockbuster of the year, and there isn't much competition
