It seems to be tracking favorably right now. They might’ve picked a good time to release, as there won’t be much competition

Domestic tracking right now is $46M. The original had $45M domestically. However, the article says that this movie is a candidate to overperform for lack of competition during release

That's interesting and, at least for me, unexpected.

The trailer looks good but not outstanding. And it's been long enough now since the first movie that I figure a lot of people have forgotten about it.

I am hoping for its success, though. I like Gerard Butler.

I wonder what the budget is. I saw it was $15M but that doesn't seem accurate.

It might be correct as its shot overseas.

Well it's coming out in January with minimal competition so I'd say it'll probably do good at the B.O.
