I think you don't understand what pedophilia actually is. It is sexual attraction to children that have not reached puberty. This is distinct from hebephilia (attraction to adolescents) and ephebophilia (preferance for mid to late adolescents).

Ephebophilia is what Trump was exhibiting when he bragged about how hot his then 16 year old daughter Ivanka was back in 1997 and at other times when he talked about what it might be like to have sex with her. But I'm not going to complain too much if you label that monster a pedo.

Sex should be limited to the confines of marriage, which is between a man and a woman. A 14 year old is still a child, so is a 16 yo. That is why I would limit it. I was using pedo as a "blanket term". Of course I am aware that pedophilia specifically refers to prepubescent children.
