My question is, why is every single thread on this forum about politics? I mean seriously people, I really wasn't expecting it, please be mature for once, this isn't about the liberals or the conservatives.
shareFigures of the left are spreading lies and conspiracy theories about the film while the right is promoting and appreciating the film. Whether we like it or not there is a divide regarding the movie and it sticks to the political divide.

That doesn't mean I'm going to say all democrats will hate this film and not support it. I'm not saying people on both spectrums won't have opposing views, but arguing about these stances in a much broader context ultimately solves nothing and is pointless. Even if people on the right choose to rally around the movie, that doesn't mean people shouldn't go watch the movie, regardless of their political opinions. That's ridiculous. Name another film that has generated so much conversation about the very real issue of child trafficking. It would be one thing if the film asserted, for example, that the problem is entirely due to the perverts in the Democratic Party, but it doesn't assert anything political like that despite it's supposed QAnon origins. Even if it is self-serving advertising for OUR, the film nonetheless is shining a light on the scumbags of the world who deserve to have more heat. To be totally "against" this film for the reasons you state, whilst completely ignoring its positive aspects, would make a truly rational person suspicious of your bias. share

What rubbish. Cite where I suspected you of being supportive of child trafficking. Even the majority of the most unhinged Democrats who rail against this film don't support such things, I'd wager. For all I know, the reason the Caviezel and Fuller characters from the Homeland Security dept are concerned about abused or trafficked children in Honduras is because they love them dearly, want to bathe them, and dress them up in sombreros. Mira Sorvino's wife character may be in the dark about their fetishes, or perhaps she's even in league with them and instrumental to their plans like Ghislaine Maxwell was for real. A film like this would see heavy support among child molestors, and everyone else would be repulsed.
