English actors

Apparently it was the plan for people to speak with Soviet/vague Eastern European accents, but during pre-production the producers started to become concerned that the actors would start to act the accent rather than the role. So they decided that each actor would use their own normal English accent and concentrate on acting to the role. This is why some speak English with a foreign accent and some speak English as their native language.

Personally, I think it was a brave decision and it worked very well.

I agree. They should have used German actors instead.

Stupid post, if this were in Rusian the actors would be putting themselves at risk with the Putin Government.

There are Russian versions, and probably a Russian overdub if you want.
