shareGood catch. The only people I knew that owned VCRs back then were people with 6 digit incomes or close to it, but those old VCRs were built like a tank.
shareIt's a world of fiction with superheroes and a fictional city of Gotham. Not really hard to believe they had some technology earlier or it was cheaper. The whole Batman Animated Series looks like is taking place in the 30-50's yet they have modern technology.
