With Asner’s death, I am guessing they are going to have to write Johnny’s stepfather’s death into the series.
What are some possible alternatives?
It seems Johnny is his only relative. Will he leave him everything? That could really turn things around for Johnny.
Sid cut Johnny completely off so I don't think he will be getting anything.
shareSid was a jerk, but he seemed to have a soft spot for Johnny. He even bailed him out in the first season.
Plus, it seems he never had children. He seemed lonely at the end. Johnny is probably the closest he had to family.
It would not surprise me if Johnny gets a surprise announcement that Sid, despite being a jerk, left him everything. He might even leave him with a nice letter apologizing for his behavior and expressing how much he loved him and his mother.
