Agreed, it was low key and NOT necessarily a swipe, just an acknowledgment of reality
It also helped to already know that Neeson's character believed in enforcing the law, yet still clearly had compassion for the illegal border crossers
I thought it was OK too. There are tons of cliches and some plot holes. Liam Neeson’s performance carried it.
