What an annoying character and terrible acting by JLaw. Then there was this cringe worthy line:
"And by the way, the women are always saving the men around here. You might want to think about changing the name to X-Women."

I was also disappointed to see Raven become the bossy team leader and annoying feminist. I wasn't happy about her dying since she is such a cool character. I hope they didn't kill her off since JLaw wanted out. JLaw could easily be replaced by another actress who would take on another human form.

shareExactly! That was the worst - and most obvious - thing about it. Quicksilver got most of them out, then Nightcrawler was in with the assist.
It's such a shame because the film didn't really need stupid, forced comments like that in it. I think there was another when the alien "woman" says something like "you're always being held back by men telling you you can't do things".
It just takes you out of the movie.

shareYeah, Jean saved everyone from Apocalypse in the previous movie but I'm not sure of any other significant saves from the female members. It should also be mentioned that Mystique's actions created the Sentinels which killed everyone in the future and that had to be undone.
