lol with that being said, I do believe Aquaman is going to be a great movie and huge hit, but I believe that 1000% and Solely because James Wan is directing...Wan is a fantastic director, reports came out when he took the job, He would only take the job if WB gave him complete control....after WB sabotaged BvS and SS and JL in post production completely taking the films away from the directors, resulting in WB editing the hell out of them making them incoherent messes that required "Ultimate Cuts" and extended cuts to be released on Blu ray just to finally understand the movies plot and fully understand the villains motives(lol literally no could fully understand Lex's motives in BvS theatrical cut, lol It was butchered so bad, WB literally had to release a full cut of the film on blu ray just so people could somewhat understand his awful character and motives)
after all this Wan demanded full control and got it...because of that I except Aquaman to be great...for once WB doesnt have the ability to sabotage thier own film...
Wan will deliver A great film...I predict Aquman will be more successful than both Wonder Woman and WW 1984...
WW1984 is going to have slight declines in box office, Its not going to get the mainstream hype and womens movement behind it that WW1 got...so you know I'm not biased I feel the exact same way about Black Panther 2....BP2 will have declines from BP1 for the exact same reasons
Aquaman IMO is going to be The DCEU LONE hit in the next 3 to 5 years....well WW84 will do good, just not like the first one and that will be seen as a disappointment...

think about this, somehow, despite 19 MCU films...Marvel Studios is having there greatest success NOW...lol I mean I'm sure somewhere around the 7 or 8th MCU hit, you had to think "this success cant continue"....then around 12th or 13th you had to think "Ok, they had thier run but nothing lasts forever"..then the 15th and 16th films hit, You had to think "does GOD HATE DC fans why?, why oh why is he putting us through this, why is the MCU films continuing to have unappreciuccess while the DCEU films continue to be embarrassments"....Then came 2017 and 2018...The MCU films literally having NEVER BEFORE SEEN success....no slowing down, just 5 straight MCU films that opened over 115 M, Made over 300 M domestically and made over 850 M W(Literally no franchise in History has done that) lol 2 of the 5 Open over 200 Million, make over 670 Million domestically and making 1.350 and 2 B+
