A warning sign for Avatar sequels?

Much in the same way that Star Wars: The Special Editions were a warning sign for what was to come with George Lucas and his Star Wars prequels? Should we expect more bland storytelling and laughably bad SJW inserts? First Jai Courtney’s character becomes an alien and explains it’s much better than being white. Will he get a sex change and exclaim how much better being a woman is? Should we be scared of what will happen to James Cameron’s future projects based on what we’ve seen from Terminator: Dark Fate?

I think Cameron's mojo is just finally starting to run out. The cracks began to show with Avatar's mediocre writing, and with Dark Fate they are really becoming apparent.

He has a habit of proving people wrong, with the massive success of Titanic and Avatar for instance, but I'm thinking these sequels could be his first disaster. Maybe he suspects that, hence the ridiculous delays to try and remedy the situation. We'll see
