Why call it bombshell? Why not #metoo?

Think it would've resonated better with the metoo era folks. Also, why was this rated so poorly?

reply

The original (working) title was "Fair And Balanced", a play on the Fox News Slogan. However "Bombshell" has a double entendre: That this whole scandal was a "bombshell' and that Ailes had a thing for blonde "bombshells".

reply

Metoo would've been a horrible title,

reply

I don't think they should name a movie "Pound Me Too". Then again....

reply

Because putting a hashtag in a movie title is retarded. It's be a good way to prevent anyone over 25 from going to see it, though. Not that too many went to see it anyway. I didn't either.

reply

I think it's because of the double meaning. "Bombshell" is what some misogynists refer to attractive blondes as if they are nice to look at, but are empty in their heads like an ammunition shell casing. And the other is when a big revelation happens.

reply

"Bombshell is what some misogynists "

oh really, the word Bombshell is used by misogynists ?

think we found our insane and deranged feminist right here

reply

Man you trumpers get triggered by everything, don't ya.

reply

Sorry, but claiming that 'bombshell' is a misogynistic term is just moronic.

reply

I didn't say bombshell was only a misogynistic term. I said that is how some misogynists use the label to refer to attractive blondes. If you've seen the movie, that is the type of misogyny Theron's, Robbie's and Kidman's characters were pushing back against.

reply

Motion feminazi. Power not equality, right? Lol

reply

Was your first sentence even a sentence?

reply

They can just shorten it to "Bomb" now
