Giant starfish?
Is no one going to acknowledge the absurdity of this?
This movie is going to flop hard when the word of mouth gets out.

Starro is a long running classic DC villain.

FLOP
It's a COMIC BOOK MOVIE. Your failure to do your homework is your own problem. When you go to see Hamlet do you complain that you've never heard of Denmark?
shareno one is going to read 1000's of comic books just to watch a movie, thats dumb... and who cares if Hamlet is from Denmark,. just watch it and enjoy it.
shareSo you rejoice in your ignorance and demand that everyone cater to it.
What a myopic little world you live in. Sad.
if books are required reading before watching a movie, then why make a movie at all?
my world consists of watching good movies. but lately, Hollywood is just rehashing old stuff and making cheesy comic book movies with no heart or soul. literally 99% of movies these days are like watching a fast and furious movie. everyone just plays it safe and is just trying to make money. same goes for music, its just all safe and vanilla. no one wants to try anything new because they are afraid it wont make money or they will get cancelled.
Since you refuse to do any research your opinions are completely invalid.
sharesince you refuse to read and acknowledge, your facts are wrong. go read your batman 1961 mint issue. let the adults converse freely and intelligently here.
shareAdults do their homework to enrich their experiences. You, on the other hand, just want to be entertained by colorful pictures. You're an intellectually lazy simpleton.
shareIf a movie cannot stand on its own merits then its a bad movie. Same about a theatre play.
sharewow, some people still think box office is where the money is.
shareit is, usually a movie's success is based on the BO. although it sometimes doesnt apply to art/independent movies...
the Divergent franchise was cancelled because the last movie bombed. they got greedy and tried to split the movie into 2 parts like the Hunger games...
No, its not. That used to be the case, but now syndication on streaming services brings more revenue than BO.
I'll acknowledge it, but it still worked somehow.
