... that image of Thor crying over Deadpool, as he was apparently dying in Thor's arms? Did I miss something, or do you think that's gonna come into play in a future movie? Deadpool made such a big deal over seeing that, I thought for sure they'd address it in a post credit scene, at least, but nope!

shareSince Ryan Reynolds says he won't do anymore Deadpool films (yeah, sure), it may be intended as closure for the Deadpool character. Something they can point to as resolution in the event that Reynolds doesn't return.
That's a weak hypothesis of course, but aside from that or simple foreshadowing -- or perhaps a red herring -- I can't think of any other purpose/reason.
I thought it was just a joke.
