Liked it More than I Thought I Would
Originally I thought this was a dumb idea for a show, just "banking on the popularity of The Big Bang Theory", I thought.
But little Sheldon is adorable, what a smarty pants, know it all! I envy his intellect. Wish I had been somewhere NEAR that smart in math.
I really like his newfound friend Tam. I loved his lunch question, "How long do we have to be in this country before I get baloney?"
His siblings are cute and funny. I am reminded of what Mary Cooper said to Leonard. "The good Lord never gives us more than we can handle. Fortunately he gave me two other children who are as dumb as soup."
The parents are so well cast. The dad loves his kids, but is clearly daunted by Sheldon's intellect. Zoe Perry is a clone for her mom, so beautiful and talented.
Annie Potts as the grandma who loves her 'moonpie' is so funny and charming.
There are just so few sitcoms I have liked in the last fifteen years. This is one of them.
