She survived a snow storm? That's her explanation? OK, but did they also address a POC in 16th century Germany?
It's called acting. She's not a "POC in 16th century Germany." She's Snow White.

That makes sense. Thanks.
Glad to help.

Do you think if she was "white faced", it might be problematic?
I'm not sure what that means. I don't think any race is problematic for an actor, unless they are portraying a historical figure, or a character whose race is intrinsic to their persona, in which case it may or not be strange.

does not matter what she says........... it's a decision they make on purpose.
Everyone now see there is a pattern because they just did the same with "the little mermaid"...... white skin and red hair replaced by a black.
it's a joke, and people are now calling them out for their racism towards classic characters.
you poor triggered baby
shareonly one triggered are left wing woke retards like yourself, who insist on race swapping established characters.
How many times are you planning on seeing snow white in the theater?
Movie will flop among the normal IQ crowd, so the only hope is that nerds go see it 4 or 5 times.
Oh wait, i forgot woke retards are broke as fuck and live in the basement of their parents 😂

Playing Devil's advocate for a second - it's kind of hard to believe there are no African or other POC fables that would make fine movies. Maybe Disney should investigate and build a franchise of unknown fables.
Everyone would be on board with that. I think the problem is that they are too lazy to do the work and are falling back on the old European fables and the work Walt Disney himself did.

I wasn't talking about the ones you mentioned (although Pocahontas is a real historical character), I'm talking about researching unknown folk tales from non-European countries. Surely there must be some good stories out there - Disney should get off their asses, find them, and build franchises on those stories instead of trying to cancel white characters.

you own little, you speak 1 language, you lived in 1 country your whole life -much less any one that is not white majority- and you have no passport
you're not qualified to have a useful opinion on the matter, or most matters, but you are qualified to vote and serve on a jury. god bless america! 🇺🇸
