About the Snow White cast I won't say anything now, because I'm biased in this regard.
I grew up with the original fairy tale, written down by the Brothers Grimm. โฅ
And back in the good ole days of IMDb already described how much an impact my very first cinema visit with Disney's Snow White (1937) โฅ still has.
It's a pity that this remake missed the chance to bring the dwarfs back to their historical roots.
Certainly there also were dwarfs in German lands at that time.
But dwarfs here as everywhere else were very original.
It was much more common to send small children into the mines.

shareSo did they replace the live actors from that leaked photo or were they just the stand-ins for these digital abominations? RZ looks alright but her standing next to these characters looks jarring.
They're probably pushing this thing back to make the CGI look better. But it's probably gonna still be a disappointment unless they knock it out of the park. Which given the recent remakes seems unlikely. Weird how they seemed to have had these live-action remakes down-pat for a bit but then once the pandemic hit, it went to shit.
Next time, just hire some dwarf actors. Game of Thrones made it okay to place little people in fantasy settings, folks.
