idk maybe im getting old but i feel like most movies fucking suck these days. we need more comedies, cool action flicks, and unique ideas being put on screen like in the good old days. but in this sad day and age there is nothing but an endless sea of gay comic book hero bullshit being produced. but when i saw the trailer for this i was actually excited enough to be willing to pay to watch this film in theaters. it looks rad as tits. the last two movies were badass. i cant wait for this one

For me, also. Most comedies suck nowadays and action movies rely too much on CGI and dumb stunts.

yeah i cant think of one good comedy from 2018. back in the day i felt like we would get over 10 hilarious movies a year. honestly i haven't watched most of the comedies made in 2018 so maybe a couple good ones were made but when i google it and see the movies that come up they look so lame i dont even wanna waste my time on most of em

Comedy has moved to TV. I watched Blockers a few weeks ago. I was appalled by the wasted potential. It could have been an amazing comedy had they only taken out the over the top profanity. I'm not a prude, nothing can replace a well placed "fuck you", but there is such a thing as too much.

yeah tv comedies have not been corrupted as bad as the blockbusters ones. most of the funny shit i find these days are created by everyday bozos posted on youtube and stuff
